- Providing the ground for the establishment and operation of knowledge-based companies in the form of growth center, innovation center and other possible platforms

- Collaborating with relevant centers and take advantage of their experiences
- Developing commercialization policies for research projects and reviewing similar domestic and international cases
- Providing opportunities for economic assessment courses for relevant experts
- Economic evaluation of proposed projects and presenting economic justification the for the projects
- Estimating and approving the annual price for the services and products manufactured in NSTRI and notifying the relevant units
- Identifying appropriate conditions and priorities by studying the history of revenue-generating projects leveling up the quality of them and providing the necessary facilities
- Reviewing and presenting explanatory reports for the commercialization of any of the manufacturable products introduced by the research schools
- Reviewing and analyzing projects presented to evaluate their commercialization capability
- Investigating and creating the Office of Research and Technology Services using human resources within the research institute
- Investigating and creating an engineering and construction design unit using human resources within NSTRI
- Reviewing the projects submitted to NSTRI and obliging the Research Affairs Office to review the feasibility and verifiability of project outputs from a technological and commercialization perspective
- Collaborating with relevant units and preparing business plans
- Definition and approving commercialization models
- Participating in exhibitions
- Analyzing and establishing industry-related units at companies
- Negotiating with companies and investors and encouraging them to invest
- Updating the research bank's equipment and services database on an annual basis
- Establishing a unit for managing the laboratory services provision unit under the supervision of the Research and Technology Services Office
- Participating in the launch of an independent website for NSTRI by taking into account security considerations to introduce research products and technologists
- Creating a corporate affairs unit using human resources within NSTRI
- Establishing quality assurance systems
- Preparing and presenting regular periodic reports
- Holding a knowledge-based business school for students, COMFAR training course and purchasing and installing COMFAR software and other related courses and seminars
